Lake Macquarie says ARRR

excellence in communicationSticky are behind a new campaign for Lake Macquarie City Council that is encouraging residents to say ARRR – Avoid, Reduce, Re-Use & Recycle.

The waste management awareness campaign is designed to bring attention to the limits and future costs of the current systems whilst advising how we can all get on-board to reduce the amount of waste going to the local rubbish tip.

The campaign is fronted by Arrrthur the Waste Management Pirate who features in a series of 6 television commercials, press advertisements and a dedicated website www.arrr.com.au.

Arrrthur also has his own Twitter page where you can chat wit him and stay up to date on the latest announcements.

Arrrthur is an enthusiastic character who is also a big fan of International Talk Like a Pirate Day, 19 September.
